If you have killed every plant you ever owned, Pothos is your redemption chance. It tolerates low light, forgotten watering and cramped pots. But if you care for it well, it will surprise you.
The most beautiful varieties
Golden Pothos (yellow-gold variegated), Marble Queen (white-green marbled), Neon (bright acid green), Jade (solid green). Variegated varieties need more light to keep the color.
How much light
Pothos lives almost anywhere, but grows much faster in bright indirect light. Variegated varieties lose variegation in low light.
Propagation
Pothos is the easiest plant to propagate: cut a stem right below a node, place in water, roots in 2 weeks.
Common problems
Yellow leaves = usually overwatering. Wilted leaves = thirst. Bare stems = low light.
